Practically Green Festival

Practically Green Festival is a family-friendly event featuring a music stage with a range of performances, a childrens stage packed full of stories with a message, and plenty of activities for the everyone during the day.

 

This year there will be a school debate on current issues giving kids a chance to have their say.

 

The afternoon sees an series of workshops on sustainable building principles from respected practitioners including-

 

  • strawbale building
  • rebuilding advice for those in bushfire affected areas
  • renewable energy options
  • grey water recycling
  • solar hot water
  • composting and sustainable gardening

 

Of course there will be plenty of yummy food including organic food and wine, with lots of market stalls where you can see and buy a huge range of sustainable products.
