Sustainable rebuilding workshops accounced for Strathewen and St Andrews

 

The Strathewen and St Andrews Sustainable Rebuilding Project has announced 4 new community workshops, the latest in their series for 2012.

 

Aimed to assist owner builders and renovators make their homes as energy efficicnet as possible, the workshops cover a diverse range of topics:

 

  • Workshop 4 (16 May): Septic systems
  • Workshop 5 (23 May): Alternative energy
  • Workshop 6 (13 June): Retrofitting for bushfire protection
  • Workshop 7 (18 July): Energy efficiency and solar hot water

 

The workshops will be interactive with discussions about all manner of ways you can increase sustainability in your home. All workshops will be practical in focus, with the aim to show you a range of options for your home so you are better informed to make choices that match your solution. Information sheets will be provided with further resources for attendees.

 

Cost is free, finger food will be provided, RSVP essential.
