Flowerdale
Kristen is a gem.
She and her kids rent in Flowerdale where they love the local community vibe and wonderful natural setting.
Kristin was keen to support the women of Flowerdale after the bushfires, to build morale and have fun in the thick of so many challenges.
So she started giving belly dancing classes!
It took off, and before she knew it, forty Flowerdale women were
belly-dancing away!
Kristin and her kids participate in Flowerdale celebrations because
they love being part of the local fabric.
She has done in a chainsaw training program which was offered by
local CFA volunteer Peter Auty for Flowerdale women because Kristin
believes that resilience is all about practical skills that benefit
the community when the going gets tough.
Now that belly-dancing has become so popular locally, Kristin is
moving onto the next big thing - she's planning pole dancing
classes for the women of Flowerdale. Look out!
